The Pulled Pork Sammie is generously portioned with juicy, succulent pork that melts in your mouth, making it a crowd favorite as noted by many loyal customers. The Brisket Mac and Cheese pairs creamy, velvety macaroni with the robust flavors of smoked brisket—comfort food at its finest.
For those craving a bit of variety, the Loaded Fries with Cheese and 2 Brisket Bombs with a side offer a satisfying combination of crunchy, cheesy, and meaty goodness, perfect for sharing or a hearty solo feast. Don’t miss the Costilla Ala Leña, a dish that showcases expertly grilled ribs with an irresistible smoky char. The wings and tenders section also deserves a shoutout—whether it’s the crisp, boldly seasoned Chicken Tender Basket served with your choice of sauce, or the Smokin’ Hot Wings that deliver a fiery kick, each bite is packed with explosive flavor.
Sides such as the homemade Mac & Cheese offer a perfect creamy contrast to the smoky meats, and the Diablo Hot Beans bring a spicy, bold punch that complements the richness of the main dishes. The classic Potato Salad balances tangy mustard and mayo, rounding out the meal beautifully.
Customers also rave about the warm, friendly service at Whiskey Fire. Staff like Jordan create a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit memorable. Real voices from the community echo this sentiment—Frank Radcliff praises the generous portions and “amazing” smoked wings with their BBQ bourbon sauce, while Bradley Baker calls the brisket bombs “delightful” and praises the attentive service that left them “happy and full.” Even discerning BBQ aficionados like Lucky Blackwell, a top Google Maps reviewer originally from South Texas, commend the perfectly cooked meats, suggesting that while the mild sauce could be enhanced with a sweeter smoky variant, the heart of the food alone earns high marks.
Complementing the savory flavors is a well-curated drink menu featuring classic favorites like Boylan Root Beer and a variety of Milo’s teas and lemonades, perfect for washing down those rich, smoky bites.
Whether you’re stopping by for the first time or returning for a comforting taste of expertly smoked BBQ, Whiskey Fire in Fairview strikes the perfect balance between traditional Southern barbecue and laid-back dining. First time trying whiskey fire. Had the pulled pork sandwich and smoked wings. Both so good. Great portion size for the pulled pork sandwich and the smoked wings were amazing with a bbq bourbon sauce Will be back soon.
The food is always really good! We ordered Pulled Pork Sammie, Brisket Taco's, Bombs, and Blackberry Cobbler! We will definitely be back soon!!
Great food and service from Jordan, We got Pulled Pork with Burnt ends and Brisket with No Sauce with Burnt ends. No Sauce, Their Mild sauce I did not enjoy, Very Vinegary... They Need a Sweet Smokey sauce. Other than that the meat was cooked perfectly. I'm from South Texas originally and I know Great BBQ. I'm also a Top 10 Reviewer for Google Maps and I highly recommend this place. Thanks and please everyone check this place out
Got 2 brisket bombs and potato salad, plus a chopped brisket plate with mac n cheese and extra hush puppies. Perfect for splitting with the wife. Food was delightful! Service was incredibly friendly, we left so happy and full! Please try the brisket bombs!
I've passed this spot many times, I finally made the stop. The guy manning the fort, awesome, personable. They had a lunch special for the day - Two smoked turkey sliders and a side(not on their normal menu). Decided to go that route for my first time. I chose the mac n cheese for my side. Great decision. And I grabbed a blueberry cobbler to round out my experience. The turkey was fantastic and flavorful, the bbq sauce was great, the slaw and farmhouse-style pickles that I put in my slider, amazing. I'll be going back to try their Brisket Bomb. Highly recommend.
